I did some pretty intense working out today. It started at the gym when I did an hour of interval training. My legs were pretty sore so I walked instead of ran. I set the incline to 20 and then walked for as long as I could at 4 mph. When I couldn’t take it any more I lowered the incline to 0 and then walked for 60-90 seconds. I repeated this for an hour. Interestingly, my heart rate got just as high as it does when I run.
In the afternoon I put on my 45 pound weight vest and walked 10km. It added another dimension to the walk to say the least. It wasn’t really as bad as I thought it would be although my feet did get a little sore at the end. I’m really enjoying mixing up my training this way. My body was tired by the end of the day.
Oh, and I took 10 seconds off my burpee time.
