I’m so pleased about how things are going so far.  People have been so generous in sharing their stories and the response has been better than I expected.

People I never would have expected have offered to make contributions.  Contributions that are so personal and empowering.  People aren’t afraid to share their struggles.  This is so important to bring us together.   I know now that my purpose in life is to connect people.  We’re only alone if we choose to be.

Brian Knowler is a long time police officer.  He shared his riveting story of dealing with post-traumatic stress.  He will be releasing a book soon that talks about his story.  It’s raw and shocking but it’s also full of actionable guidance.  I was privileged to have the opportunity to read the manuscript.  I couldn’t put it down.

Shanny Azaz shared a song she wrote about what it was like to find her wings.  She struggled under the weight of a strictly religious family whose vision for her life conflicted with her own.  She found her salvation in circus school of all things!
